Marc Lavarelo

I was born in Peru to an Indian mother and a French father, and my early childhood was spent between Peru and Nice, right here on the Cote d’Azur. Following this international start in life, I spent ten years in Munich, Germany. All my teenage years in fact were spent there, and as a result I am fluent in German as well as French.

I moved back to live in Vence on the Cote’d Azur from where I was able to enrol in International Business Studies at the Pigier Business School in Nice, followed by Business Development Studies at the Skema Business School in Sophia Antipolis.
I then decided I needed to travel again and spent a year in Eindhoven (Holland) and another year in the UK to improve my English, in which I am now also fluent.

I was developing a keen interest in real estate and decided to return to the Cote d’Azur to study it formally, enrolling in a three-year course at ILEC Cannes, with the emphasis on real estate investment and the laws surrounding “urbanism”, urban planning and “how inhabitants of urban areas, such as towns and cities, interact with the built environment”. During my years of study in Cannes I worked part time for an urban developer, before my father introduced me to Alice at Fine & Country where I joined-up, with ample youth and enthusiasm, and I became a warmly welcomed new member of the happy Fine & Country team.

Now two years down the line, I am rigorous and attentive with my buyers and sellers, and always pleased to help in every way that I possibly can to achieve for my clients, their real estate objectives.
Outside of real estate, I am passionate about my football and have played at an amateur level for several clubs over the years. I love discovering new places and towns, while pursuing my greatest interest, which is learning about the history of the different cultures that make up our region, and our world.
